| On 06/21/2017, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s West County Street Narcotics Team concluded a month long narcotic investigation into Michael Sabzevar by executing a search warrant at his residence in the 700 block of Akron Avenue in the City of Ventura. Detectives detained Sabzevar at his residence while executing the search warrant. A search of Sabzevar’s residence by detectives led to the seizure of approximately 7 ounces of heroin, and 2 ounces methamphetamine, packaged for sale. An amount of currency deemed to be proceeds of narcotic sales as well as paraphernalia indicative of illegal narcotic sales were also seized. Sabzevar was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail on narcotics violations. His bail was set at $250,000. He is currently in custody pending bail or arraignment which is scheduled for 06/23/2017 at 1:30 PM. The West County Street Narcotics Team is comprised of narcotic detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and the Oxnard Police Department. |
