Recently, there have been multiple residential burglaries in the City of Inglewood where the suspects have targeted houses or apartments being tented for fumigation. Homes are being burglarized during the various stages of the fumigation process. Please report any suspicious persons and/or vehicles in and around homes that are tented for fumigation to the Inglewood Police Department.
How to protect your home during the fumigation process:
- Notify the Police Department and your neighbors that your house is being fumigated
- Properly secure and lock your doors and windows
- Do not leave valuables such as jewelry or other small items inside of your home during the fumigation process
- Do not enter your home while it is being tented, even if you see suspicious activity. The chemicals and fumes are extremely toxic.
