#004: DUI collision
At 3:12 am, officers responded to a disturbance in the 40000 block of Fremont Bl. Based on the subsequent investigation, a 23 year old Fremont resident was arrested for DUI.
#008: Carjacking
At about 7:50 am, officers responded to a carjacking on Mowry Av at Fremont Bl. A male tried to carjack a car from a victim, who fought off the male. The male then went to a second victim, took her keys, and then stole her silver Mitsubishi Mirage. The male was described as a Hispanic male 20-30 years old, thin, short, wearing a black hat and black hoodie.
#019: Cell phone theft
At about 1:08 pm, officers responded to a cell phone store on Pacific Commons Blvd., regarding the theft of several cell phones. Officers learned two males ran out of the store with 4-5 cell phones. Both males were described as Black males, in their twenties, wearing a Polo shirt with tight black jeans.
#025: Chain snatch robbery
At 3:01 pm, officers responded to the area of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Deep Creek for a robbery. A female victim reported two males approached her at a bus stop. One of the males grabbed her neck, and then both males fled in an older green sedan. The males were described as: 1) Black male, about 25 years old, thin, with a beard; and wearing a black hoodie and khaki shorts; and 2) Black male, about 25 years old, heavy set with a protruding forehead; and wearing a black jacket and dark pants. No weapons were seen.
