6/09 – 11:50 a.m. – Millstadt Police, Millstadt Fire Department, & Millstadt EMS responded to the intersection of Washington Avenue & Jefferson Avenue, for a three-vehicle traffic crash. A pickup truck struck a van which was in the intersection, forcing the van to strike a large truck hauling drywall. A passenger in the van was transported to a St. Louis hospital with non-life threatening injuries, via EMS. The intersection was closed for an extended period of time, due to the cleanup of debris.
