#007: Auto theft investigation:
At about 6:30 am, a resident in the 3900 block of Monroe Ave heard his vehicle engine start.  He went out to investigate, and ended up finding his vehicle one block away.  The vehicle was occupied by a white female driver and a dark skinned male wearing a black hoodie.  The female and male did not have permission to be driving the victim’s vehicle.  The male and female fled the scene on foot.  Responding officers did not locate the male and female.

#008:  Fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian collision:
At 7:32 am, FPD officers responded to a collision at Fremont Bl. and Capital Ave., regarding a traffic collision involving a pedestrian.  Upon arrival, officers immediately rendered emergency medical aid to the pedestrian.  Emergency medical personnel also arrived.  Unfortunately, the 47 year old woman pedestrian succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.  The driver, an adult male, cooperated with the investigation.  Traffic units took over the investigation with Traffic Officer Chinn as the lead investigator. 

#010:  Mental commitment involving firearm: 
At 10:15 am, officers responded to a location on Industrial Dr. to a report of an adult male who was making incoherent statements and in possession of a firearm. The subject was contacted via phone and cooperated with responding officers.  The subject was placed on a mental commitment hold for evaluation, and several firearms were seized.

#014:  DUI collision:
At about 11:56 am, Traffic Officer Gregory responded to a collision involving a vehicle colliding with a building on Hugo Terrace.  Upon arrival, and based on the subsequent investigation, it was determined the driver was under the influence. Officer Gregory arrested a 21 year old male, Fremont resident, for driving under the influence.

#032 Shoplifting: 
At 7:29 pm, officers were dispatched to Target at the Hub for a shoplifter, who also had several arrest warrants.  Officer Cavaz arrested a 21 year old male, from Daly City, for shoplifting and his warrants. 

#036 Trespassing: 
At 9:00 pm, officers were dispatched to a pharmacy in the 1900 block of Mowry Ave., because a male was refusing to leave.  Officer Gigliotti arrested a 36 year old male, from Fremont, for trespassing.
