0714 Hours: Officer Fredstrom investigated an auto burglary at the Courtyard Hotel, 34906 Jarvis Avenue. The loss is construction tools.

0900 Hours: Officer Warren investigated an auto burglary at the Chase Suites Hotel, 39150 Cedar Boulevard. The loss is construction tools.

1640 Hours: Officer Ackerman responded to Macy’s, NewPark Mall for a shoplifter in custody. A 29 year old San Leandro female was arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail.

1809 Hours: During a traffic stop on Arden Street, Officer Herbert contacted and arrested a 49 year old Newark male on his outstanding warrant. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.

2040 Hours: Officer Wallace investigated a minor injury traffic collision on Thornton Avenue involving a motorcyclist that struck a bicyclist that had been riding on the wrong side of the roadway. The injured party refused medical attention at the scene.

2053 Hours: Officer Herbert investigated an auto burglary in the NewPark Mall parking lot. The loss is a backpack containing books and personal items.

0448 Hours: Officer Wallace responded to a burglary alarm at the Viola Blythe Center on Ash Street and found the rear door had been pried open. The loss is unknown at this time.
