ALERT-- WANTED PERSON -- ARMED & DANGEROUS

MAN SOUGHT FOR SHOOTING INTO SOCIAL WORKER’S CAR LAST NIGHT

[Wentworth, N.C.]— Last night on June 13, 2017, at 11:29 pm, Carlietha Rosanna Glover, a Social Worker for Rockingham County Social Services, was operating her vehicle traveling south on W. Webb Avenue in Burlington, N.C. She advised as she approached the intersection of W. Webb Avenue and Glenn Raven Road a black BMW SUV drove along a side of her vehicle and fired a gunshot into the driver’s side of her car. The dark color BMW SUV then left the area in an unknown direction of travel. Glover drove her car to the Burlington Police Department parking lot where she met with Officers. Glover was not injured as a result of the gunfire. A subsequent investigation was conducted by the Burlington Police Criminal Investigations Division which found the driver of the BMW SUV (NC Registration EBK-9894) to be Christopher Lee Neal, 42, of 115 Moyer Lane, Reidsville, N.C. It is believed that Glover was specifically targeted by Neal because of her job at the Rockingham County Department of Social Services.

Burlington Police obtained the following charges on Neal: (1) count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and (1) count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. 
Christopher Lee Neal is pictured in this release. His whereabouts are unknown at this time, though he may have returned to the Rockingham County area. Neal should be considered Armed and Dangerous.
