BOIL WATER ADVISORY ENDED. ALL WATER SAMPLE TESTING INDICATED NO PROBLEM WITH LIVONIA’S DRINKING WATER 
The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA), the region’s water supplier, has advised the City of Livonia that all water test samples indicated no bacterial contamination of the water system resulting from the power loss at their pumping station.
Therefore, residents may use water as normal.
While there was never any evidence of contamination of the water supply, the City of Livonia exercised extreme caution as a result of this event by issuing a boil water advisory. We apologize for all of the inconveniences this situation has caused. However, the safety of our citizens and the water supply was our highest priority.
