Expected Traffic Delay / New Council person being sworn into office. 
The Fairview Police Department is expecting higher than normal traffic congestion in the area of Anderson Avenue and Garfield Street (construction zone) due to limited parking. Tonight's borough council meeting is expected to be at full capacity due to the swearing in a of a new council person.
Violetta Berisha will be getting sworn into the unexpired council seat for recently deceased Councilman John Rossi. Berisha will be only the third female council person in 123 years. The council and mayors seat is currently occupied by all males.
Please use alternate routes around the Borough Hall during the hours of 5:30-7:00 pm this evening.
