Sheriff Victor Hill's "Operation "Day Of The Bat" Results In 16 Arrested Today

Today, members of the Jonesboro Police Department, Riverdale Police Department and Clayton County Sheriff's Office executed Sheriff Victor Hill's Operation "Day Of The Bat" as a multi-agency warrant roundup. 16 wanted suspects were located and arrested.

At 7am, Team Four, comprised of members of the Stalking Unit and the Truancy Unit, went to arrest Mr. Christopher Lamar Odister at 64 Andover Drive in Jonesboro. Odister was wanted for the charges of Identity Fraud (Felony) and two misdemeanor violations of his probation.

Team four went to the address sending two deputies to the rear and two to the front of his house. Upon seeing that he could not flee the residence, Mr. Odister decided to play ninja and hide in the house under a blanket in the closet. His girlfriend, Ms. Sabrina Hudson, told deputies that she had not seen Odister in months. Had Hudson simply look in her closet under the blanket she would have seen him and would not have had to miss him all of this time.

Thanks to Deputies doing a thorough search and finding Odister in the closet under the blanket, the boyfriend and girlfriend are now reunited and both charged with obstruction living happily ever after with Odister facing the wall at Georgia's toughest para- military jail.
