Deputy Scheller spent some time at "The Hills" apartment complex located in the city of Diamond Bar talking with residents. It was a fun safety event for the community that helps residents connect with the local law enforcement agency. Diamond Bar residents will be rewarded up to $500 for information that leads to the arrest of home or car burglars. Residents should call the sheriff's Diamond Bar Station at 909-595-2264 or 9-1-1 if the burglary is in progress. They should provide a description of the suspicious individuals and the car color, make, model and license plate number if possible.
