WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The seminar is open to ADULTS ONLY and would revolve around a mock teenager bedroom for parents to walk through and observe. Law Enforcement Officers will be there to provide information on the latest substance abuse trends, signs and symptoms.
 
Members from the Winslow Township Police, Pine Hill Police, Waterford Township Police and Hammonton Police in coordination with their Municipal Drug and Alcohol Alliances are hosting an interactive seminar to help parents and caretakers recognize and identify drug paraphernalia, hiding places and other signs that indicate drug use by a teenager.
 
Steered Straight will address the most prevalent and deadly epidemics affecting adolescents in our country; opiate and prescription drug overdose. Local recovering addicts will also be available to discuss the epidemic.
 
Information and resources provided by the Camden County Addiction Awareness Task  Force will  be available to  all  in attendance
