DWI CHECKPOINT ON OCEAN AVENUE IN DEAL THIS FRIDAY NIGHT 
DEAL - The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a DWI checkpoint this Friday evening in Deal to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.
The checkpoint will be run from 10 p.m. Friday, May 26 through 2 a.m. Saturday, May 27 on Ocean Avenue.
Task force members and officers from the Deal Police Department will pull vehicles from the northbound lanes of Ocean Avenue into the Deal Casino Beach Club parking lot to determine the driver’s sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, task force coordinator.
