5/24 – 1:51 p.m. – Police responded to a two-car traffic crash, at South Jefferson Avenue & Elm Street. A vehicle, pulling off East Elm Street, failed to yield the right-of-way to a vehicle travelling on Jefferson. The vehicle travelling on Jefferson stuck the other vehicle, then crashed into telephone pole. The driver of the vehicle which struck the pole was transported to a local hospital via EMS, with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the at-fault vehicle, a 16 year-old juvenile, was cited for Failure to Yield at an Intersection. Millstadt Fire Department, and EMS responded to this incident.
