The Rahway Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 71 year old man, Ayalew Tasew. Mr. Tasew was last seen leaving his family’s apartment in the 1100 block of Main Street on May 16, 2017, at approximately 8:30 a.m. He is described as a black male with medium brown skin, a light mustache, and short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, white dress pants, a light blue and white checkered shirt, a dark cap, and black leather shoes. The victim is visiting from Ethiopia and does not speak English, nor is he familiar with the area.
