Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski, and Clinton Township Police Officer in Charge Lt. Doug Higgins announced that a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Clinton Township Police Department is ongoing into a suspicious communication received by the Clinton Township School District.
According to Prosecutor Kearns, “We are currently aware of a communication received by the school district. The Clinton Township Police have taken precautionary measures at the schools. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office along with our law enforcement partners is currently conducting an investigation.”
At this time, the communication does not appear to be credible. We will inform the public if any additional information is developed.
