#013 Possession of Narcotics and Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
At 9:35 a.m., Officer Gourley responded to the 39000 block of Paseo Padre Pkwy.  A reporting party calls on a transient inside the building trespassing.  Officer Gourley locates the male behind 39500 Liberty Street.  He arrests the 46 year old adult male for possession of narcotics and paraphernalia. 

#015 Carrying a Concealed Firearm
At 11:02 a.m., Officer Blanchet tries to arrest a 21 year old adult male on a warrant in the area of Central Ave and Dusterberry.  The male takes off running and drops a loaded revolver on Central Ave. Detectives are in the area and recover the gun.  Officer Josh Ehling and Officer Blanchet are able to take him into custody at the rear of an apartment complex on Central Ave.  

#016 Commercial Burglary
Unknown suspect(s) steal copper wire from a construction site on Bayside Park.  CSO Anders investigating. 

#007 Commercial Burglary
Unknown suspect(s) steal  equipment form construction site at 2900 block of Sequoia Ter.  CSO Schwartz investigating.

#046 Stolen Vehicle
A 1997 white 2-door Honda Accord, CA Lic. #3WPF728 was taken without permission from the area of Crandallwood Dr. and Deep Creek.  

#052 Stolen Vehicle
A1991 Blue/Green 2-door Acura Integra, CA Lic. #2WEN325 was taken without permission from Milton Terrace area. 

#005 & 008 Violation of a Restraining Order and Residential Burglary
Officers were dispatched to Kerry Common on a violation of a restraining order, with the suspect reportedly trying to break into the residence.  As officers begin to arrive, the suspect quickly leaves in his 2003 Dark Grey Chevy Suburban. Officer Layfield activated his emergency lights and sirens.  The suspect then began to drive north on Mission in the southbound lanes of Mission Blvd.  Officer Layfield watched as he drove recklessly into Union City.  Union City PD was notified.  Soon after watching the vehicle disappear, Officers on Kerry Common put out that it was a good attempt burglary.  The vehicle was never located.  Officers also located a hit and run property damage collision, where the suspect ran over a community mailbox.

#010 Suspended License Arrest
At 7:54 a.m., Officer Blanchet stops a vehicle in the area of Lake Tana/Grand Lake.  He cites the driver for driving on a suspended license. 

#013 Warrant Arrest
At 9:00 a.m., Officer Koehler does a warrant service at Motel Six (north) and arrests a female for a no bail out of county traffic warrant. 

#019 Driving without a License and Possession of Fraudulent Scanners/Devices
At 11:09 a.m., Officer Ehling conducts a traffic stop at Fremont Blvd and Ferry Ln.  He arrests a 20 year old adult male for driving without a license.  The passenger presents a passport as identification, which states he is 20 years old.  He is arrested for being in possession of a skimming device.  Once at the jail, the 20 year old notifies jail staff that he is actually a juvenile.  The 17 year old is transported to Juvenile Hall. 

#015 Residential Burglary
Unknown suspect(s) entered a house on the 4700 block of Serra Ave.  Victim believes they entered through doggie door.  Loss is victim’s wallet.  CSO Romero investigating.  

#025 Hit and Run Property Collision
During the Niles Car Show a vehicle hit a building and fled the area.  Traffic Officer Piol investigated.

#031 Strong-Arm Robbery
Officers are flagged down in the area of Sundale Dr / Trinity Wy on the report of a strong arm robbery.  The victim had his phone stolen and was then battered by about six suspects.  The suspects, possibly all juveniles, are known to officers.  Officer Floresca and FTO Kennedy are investigating.

#040 Possession of Methamphetamine
Officer Gigliotti stopped a 38 year old adult female at Motel 6 north and arrests her for possession of methamphetamine.

#019 Warrant Service
Officers respond to Target at the Hub on the report of a person who may have stolen some items.  The male is contacted and arrested for outstanding warrants.  Officer Gourley investigated.

#020 Injury Collision 
At 3:57 p.m., a 5 year old female juvenile was hit while riding her bike in the crosswalk at Paseo Padre Pkwy and Isherwood Pl.  The juvenile is transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.  Case under investigation by Officer Cordero.

#022 Public Intoxication Arrest
Officer Taylor is flagged down by a citizen reporting a person passed out near Fremont Blvd and Carol Ave.  Officer Taylor contacts the 30 year old adult male and detains him for public intoxication.  The male attempts to break free from officers as he is walked to a patrol car.  The male is booked at Santa Rita Jail for obstructing/resisting and public intoxication.

#033 Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance Arrest
Two callers reported a suspicious male yelling and screaming in the area of Logan and Gertrude.  One caller thought he was carrying a rifle while the other caller reported he was carrying an unknown object in his hand.  Officers responded quickly to the area, set up containment, and quickly set up a team of officers and began moving towards the area he was last seen on Gertrude.  After a short while, the suspicious person was seen running westbound on Gertrude.  He ran right into Officer Kennedy, Officer Floresca, and Officer Layfield.  The 37 year old adult male suspect did not have a rifle but was found to be under the influence.   Officer Burch documented the incident. 

#003 Strong-Arm Robbery
At approximately 12:28 a.m., a victim called advising she was robbed of her purse in the area of Liberty St. and Sundale by three females.   The victim was walking when a newer grey Honda Civic type car with red and white paper plates pulled up next to her.   A white female with red hair and a black female got out of the passenger side of the car and began hitting the victim and then took her purse.  Both suspects got into the car and it left.   The driver was not seen.   Officer Rose is case agent.

#032 Theft
At approximately 10:00 p.m., a Safeway employee (Warm Springs) called reporting that three females had attempted to steal items out of the store.  Upon confronting the females, they refused to return the items and became hostile.  Eventually the female suspects left with only a few items.  The suspects were described as a black female (18-25 years old, 5’5”, and dreadlocks), a white female adult (red hair), and possibly a third black female (dread locks).  The suspects left in a grey newer Honda Civic type car with red and white paper plates.  All three suspects and vehicle are most likely the same as the above robbery report.   Officer Berrier is case agent.
