Captain Deborah Borchelt and Sergeant Bruce Vanoven complete Lifeguarding recert in preparation for Sheriff's Camp. 
On Friday May 12, 2017, Captain Deborah Borchelt and Sergeant Bruce Vanoven traveled to the Vincennes YMCA to recertify their Red Cross Lifeguarding certifications. After Captain Borchelt and Sergeant Vanoven completed an eight hour blended learning class online they spent time in the water refining and sharpening their skills in anticipation of the 2017 Youth leadership camp that is put on by the Indiana Sheriff's Association. Captain Borchelt and Sergeant Vanoven highly value this program presented by the sheriff's association and are glad to donate their time and effort to ensure that campers have the best time they can at camp.
