I wish every Mother a safe and happy Mother's Day today, and forevermore. The mothers in our county are all precious to me, and they deserve all of our respect, protection, and honor.

I was raised by my Mother and Grandmother who just turned 95 in March. When I think of the personal sacrifices these two women made for me, I am undone. I saw first hand the challenges women face daily raising children with the absence of a man. This is why anytime I learn of situations where Mothers are being assaulted or taking advantage of, it aggravates my last nerve.

To answer the call of our Mothers in need, I handpicked a group of elite deputies to create the Stalking Unit who embodies our motto that "we defend those who cannot defend themselves" by stalking the stalkers. These deputies are on call 24/7 and are available at a moments notice to protect all of our Mothers. These deputies have and will continue to relentlessly hunt those who dare to take advantage of our Mothers.
