Woman from Kentucky arrested on DUI and other charges.

On May 13, 2017, at 2:01 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a vehicle traveling in excess of 100 mph on US 41 near Fort Branch. Officers from the Fort Branch Police Department, Princeton Police Department, and Gibson County Sheriff’s Office located a gray Toyota still traveling in excess of 100 mph on US 41 and conducted a traffic stop near County Road 100 North. Upon approaching the driver 19 year old Lilly Hollander of Cardiz, Kentucky Deputy Loren Barchett detected the odor of Marijuana and Alcohol coming from within the vehicle. At that point Deputy Barchett with the assistance of other officer began a roadside DUI investigation. Once Deputy Barchett was finished with his investigation Ms. Hollander was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. At the Gibson County Jail Ms. Hollander was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI), Reckless Driving, and Possession of Marijuana. She remains in custody on a $1300 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
