On May 12, 2017 at 1:36 a.m. Deputy Ben Kiesel conducted a traffic stop on a Gold 2002 Chevy Suburban on US 41 near County Road 400 West. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Kiesel identified the driver as 23 year old Trevor Lampert of Vincennes, Indiana. During a roadside investigation Deputy Kiesel ran Mr. Lampert through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that Mr. Lampert’s Operator’s status on his driver’s license was listed as suspended-prior. At that point Deputy Kiesel placed Mr. Lampert into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Driving While Suspended-Prior. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
