THE RESIDENTS OF Whitmire, SC

The Whitmire Commission of Public Works advises the residents of Whitmire, SC, located in Newberry County, that they NO LONGER NEED TO BOIL THEIR WATER prior to drinking or cooking. Bacteriological samples were collected at various locations in the system and analyzed by the Whitmire Filter Plant. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
