* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Clay County in west central Missouri... Southwestern Ray County in west central Missouri... Northern Jackson County in west central Missouri...

* Until 300 PM CDT

* At 229 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over River Bend, or over Courtney, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Kansas City, Independence, Lee`s Summit, Blue Springs, Liberty, Gladstone, Excelsior Springs, Kearney, Richmond, North Kansas City, Sugar Creek, Buckner, Lawson, Claycomo, Courtney, Pleasant Valley, Orrick, Glenaire, Avondale and Oakview. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 13 and 18. Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 7 and 30. Interstate 29 between mile markers 0 and 2.
