What: Annual HSCO Peace Officers’ Memorial Service and Ribbon Cutting for the
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation - Memorial Garden (dedicated in tribute to the fallen Peace Officers of Harris County)

Immediately following the Annual HCSO Peace Officers’ Memorial Service, founding members of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation, HCSOF, (a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded for the purpose of providing support for equipment and training for the deputies at HCSO), will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Memorial Garden in tribute to the fallen Peace Officers of Harris County.

Located adjacent to the Dave Ward Building, Crime Stoppers of Houston, the Memorial Garden includes granite sculptures engraved with the names of Harris County law officers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

These names include 43 fallen members of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and 18 members of Harris County constables’ offices.
The HCSOF Memorial Garden was designed, funded and constructed by the HCSOF with donations received from individuals within the community so that there would be a proper place of honor and respect in the memory of our fallen Peace Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of the citizens of Harris County.

Who: Master of Ceremonies Dave Ward, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Harris County Constables, Crime Stoppers Executive Director Rania Mankarious, Representatives of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation, including Tracy Krohn, Founding Member and Chairman, Franco Valobra, Founding Member, and Katrina Arnim, Executive Director. Additional Founding Members of the HCSOF along with public officials and survivors of the fallen will also be in attendance.
