The Mantua Township Police will be conducting a drill at J.M.T. elementary school today May 9th @ 330pm.
*** THIS IS ONLY A DRILL***
This is a combined training effort as we work and train together with the school and school officials. We will be conducting an active shooter type scenario and there will be no firearms used and or brought into the school. Officers will use “blue guns” which are replicas of the real thing, made of rubber.
School will be out of session and the staff and neighbors have been made aware.
