*** Please note: Warm nights and open windows are an invitation to burglars. Your best safety practice is to close and lock ALL windows in unoccupied rooms when you go to bed and place a stick in the window track or some type of locking device on the window of the room you are sleeping in to limit the opening to no more than 6-8 inches. Please be aware that a window left open 6-8 inches with a stick in the window track can be easily, albeit, very noisily lifted out of its track. *****
