Deputies Shot At By Unknown Assailant. Sheriff Victor Hill Is Requesting Help From Public For Information. 
Last night On Tuesday May 2, 2017 at approximately 10:30pm, several Sheriff's Deputies were standing by their patrol vehicles in the parking lot of Kendrick Middle School preparing for a road check when a vehicle traveling southbound on Kendrick Road drove by and fired a shot in their direction. A Sheriff's patrol car was struck by the bullet on the right-passenger side.
The suspect's vehicle is described possibly as a 2002-2006 Silver 4-door Hyundai Accent that continued southbound on Kendrick Road at a high rate of speed. The right rear passenger was wearing a red and black shirt or jacket and possibly a toboggan or ski mask. No other descriptions of the other occupants are available.
Sheriff Victor Hill has ordered all of his special forces to this area and is asking anyone with information that can help hunt these individuals down to please contact the Sheriff's Office at 770-477-4479.
