04/19/17 WTPD arrested Joseph Reiner, age 50, of Washington, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 04/19/17 at approximately 12:11 AM, patrol was dispatched to the parking lot of the Railroad Avenue apartments for a report of people yelling. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Reiner was issued a summons for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Mr. Reiner was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

04/21/17 WTPD arrested John Hermes, age 34, of Washington, NJ for outstanding warrants totaling $1305.00 out of Mansfield and Washington Townships. On 04/21/17 at approximately 3:34 PM, patrol responded to a residence in the 60 block of E. Washington Ave in Washington Borough to locate Mr. Hermes. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Hermes was located and taken into custody without incident. Mr. Hermes was processed and lodged in the WC Jail. WTPD was assisted with the investigation by the Mansfield Township PD.

04/21/17 WTPD arrested Diana Allen, age 44, of Washington, NJ for simple assault. Ms. Allen was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

04/21/17 WTPD arrested Brett Rodenbough, age 26, of Phillipsburg, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 04/21/17 at approximately 11:08 PM, an officer on patrol observed Mr. Rodenbough urinating next to a dumpster in the 60 block of E. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. Mr. Rodenbough was processed at the scene and released with a mandatory court date.

04/22/17 WTPD arrested Joseph Turdo, age 20, and Dezarae Farrand, age 20, both of Phillipsburg, NJ. On 04/22/17 at approximately 10:02 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hillcrest Ave in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation resulted in the driver, Mr. Turdo, being arrested for outstanding warrants totaling $1250.00 out of Mansfield Township and North Warren. The vehicles’ passenger, Ms. Farrand was arrested for possession of prescription legend drugs. The driver was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to wear a seatbelt, maintenance of lamps and driving with a suspended license. Mr. Turdo was turned over to Mansfield PD. Ms. Farrand was processed and released with a mandatory court appearance.

04/22/17 WTPD arrested Kenneth Shannon, age 29, and Sean McKenna, age 36, both of Washington, NJ. On 04/22/17 at approximately 9:12 PM, patrol responded to a dispute in the hallway of 150 Belvidere Ave in Washington Borough. Upon patrol’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Shannon was placed under arrest. Mr. Shannon resisted arrest by kicking, spitting and pulling away from the officer’s. Mr. Shannon was charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, throwing bodily fluids at a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, failure to provide fingerprints, disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail. Mr. McKenna was charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

04/23/17 WTPD arrested Juan Moreno, age 23, of Stewartsville, NJ and Darren Novack, age 19, of Milford, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 04/23/17 at approximately 9:54 PM, patrol observed Mr. Moreno and Mr. Novack operating their vehicles in a manner that caused the vehicle exhaust to backfire repeatedly on E. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. The officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on both vehicles and further investigation resulted in both men being charged with local ordinance summonses for maintaining a nuisance. Mr. Novack was issued motor vehicle summonses for not having a front license plate and excess muffler noise. Mr. Moreno was also issued motor vehicle summonses for excessive muffler noise and failure to provided documents. Both men were processed and released with mandatory court dates.

04/25/17 WTPD arrested Robert Edwards, age 59, of Washington, NJ for simple assault. Mr. Edwards was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.

04/28/17 WTPD arrested Jethro Sylverne, age 19, of Phillipsburg, NJ for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of (CDS) over 50 grams of marijuana, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated (DWI) and refusal to submit to a breath test. On 04/28/17 at approximately 12:41 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 57 W. in Washington Township. The officer’s investigation revealed that Mr. Sylverne was in possession of CDS and was driving under the influence. Mr. Sylverne resisted arrest by attempting to close the car window on the officer’s arm. Mr. Sylverne was processed and charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of (CDS) over 50 grams of marijuana, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for delaying traffic, careless driving, the use of a hand held device in a moving vehicle and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Mr. Sylverne was lodged in the WC Jail.

04/30/17 WTPD arrested Jason Archer, age 29, Thousand Island, NY, Karina Desousa-Fusco, age 24, and Anna Carolina, age 35, both of Oxford, NJ. On 04/30/17 at approximately 2:15 AM, patrol was conducting a routine patrol of Oxford Furnace Lake in Oxford Township. At that time, the officer located Mr. Archer, Ms. Desousa-Fusco and Ms. Carolina, all of whom had entered into the park after hours. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Archer being issued a local ordinance for entering the lake after hours. Both Ms. Desousa-Fusco and Ms. Carolina were issued local ordinance summonses for the possession of an alcoholic beverage at Furnace Lake and maintaining a nuisance. All parties were released with mandatory court dates.

04/30/17 WTPD arrested Jason Bucey, age 44, of Washington, NJ for simple assault and harassment. Mr. Bucey was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
