...Gusty northwest to north winds across portions of southwestern California through at least Friday morning... .Weak frontal systems passing to the north of the region will continue to generate gusty northwest to north winds across portions of Southwestern California for much of the week. ...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PDT FRIDAY...

* WINDS AND TIMING...Areas of northwest to north winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 35 to 45 mph will continue through mid morning,then winds will diminish some. Winds are expected to restrengthen once again this afternoon. Gusty northerly winds will continue through at least early Friday morning. Wind advisories will likely need to be extended Friday into Saturday as winds become offshore.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially for drivers of high profile vehicles. Major roads that will be affected include Highways 14 and 126, and Interstate 5.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SANTA CLARITA VALLEY
