HTPD Investigating Indecent Exposure on Lakelands Trail

The Hamburg Township Police Department is currently investigating an indecent exposure complaint which was reported to have occurred on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 on the Lakelands Trail in Hamburg Township and is asking for the public's help in identifying the possible suspect involved in the incident.

Two 14-year old girls reported that they were walking on the Lakelands Trail near Girard Street (between Kress Road & Pettys Road) on April 18, 2017 at approximately 5:00pm when they walked by a male subject sitting on a bench. As they passed the subject they observed that he had his shorts pulled down in a manner which fully exposed his genitals and he was touching himself. As the girls continued walking the male subject left the area on his bicycle which was described as a mountain bike.

A short time later, both girls came across the same male subject on the Lakelands Trail east of Pettys Road (behind the Chilson Commons Shopping Center). The male subject once again had his genitals exposed and was fondling himself.

The girls proceeded to walk into the parking lot of the Chilson Commons Shopping Center. The male subject initially followed them but then left the area on his bicycle as they entered a store.

Subject described as: White, Male in his late early 20’s
5’8”, thin build
Short dark hair
Fair-skinned with sparse facial hair
Wearing a black t-shirt with white writing on the front and baggy black/purple shorts

A composite drawing of the subject accompanies this message.
