Here is the Canyon Country Crime Information and Public Safety Report  for the Week of April 3, 2017- April 9, 2017:

04/03/17 

Vehicle Burglary- Sierra Highway/ Golden Valley Road 
Person(s) unknown smashed a window to the victim’s vehicle and stole his wallet, sunglasses, and a watch. 

Vehicle Burglary- 29900 block of Grandifloras Drive 
Person(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole his backpack containing two school books, and a credit card. 
 

04/04/17 

Grand Theft Auto- 19300 block of Soledad Canyon Road 
Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle which was parked near the above location. 
 

04/06/17 

Residential Burglary- 26900 block of Flo Lane 
Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s enclosed garage and stole electronics and cash from the victim’s parked vehicle. 
 

04/06/17 
Commercial Burglary- 27100 block of Sierra Highway 
An employee saw two suspects near the above location attempting to kick open an office door. When approached by the employee, the suspects ran away and out of view. No property was taken. 

Robbery- Jakes Way/Manzanita Lane 
One suspect pointed a handgun at the victim’s head and demanded his cell phone. In fear for his life, the victim complied and the suspect ran away and out of view. 

Residential Burglary- 27600 block of Rosa Lane 
One suspect was arrested for attempting to make entry into the victim’s residence while she was home. During the investigation the suspect was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and additionally charged. 
 

04/09/17 

Grand Theft Auto- 18000 block of Sierra Highway 
Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle which was parked near the above location. 

IF YOU WITNESS A CRIME  
If you see or suspect a crime is being committed, pay particular attention to the features of the offender(s) and any vehicles involved. Try to be prepared to provide at least the following about the offenders:
When reporting a crime by telephone, remain on the phone until the dispatcher is fully briefed with all the information necessary to dispatch the appropriate response personnel to the scene.
1. Age, race, height, and weight;
2. Hair color and style, beard and mustache;
3. Notable characteristics (acne, scars, glasses mental state, etc.)
4. Clothing description;
5. Location where last seen;
6. Last known direction of travel;
7. Vehicle description and distinctive markings.
Witnesses who wish to remain anonymous may do so. It is more important that a response be dispatched as quickly as possible.
