WIS 54 detour in Wood County begins next week 
Crews plan to close WIS 54 between Dexterville and Port Edwards to through traffic on Monday, April 24.
Traffic will be detoured via WIS 80, WIS 173 and WIS 73. During this stage of construction, the intersections with Hemlock Lane and School Lane will also be closed. County D will remain open. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow more time for travel. More information about the project schedule and traffic impacts can be found on the project website: https://projects.511wi.gov/wis54wood/
All work is scheduled for completion in early September 2017. Construction schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions and construction progress.
