RE:Traffic Crash

On 18 April 2017, at approximately 6:30 a.m., there was a traffic crash on North Highland Avenue at intersection with Walnut Street. The crash involved a school bus and a passenger vehicle.
The investigation revealed that the passenger car was southbound on North Highland in the outside lane. The school bus pulled onto North Highland from the stop sign on Walnut and struck the car on the right side.
The operator of the passenger car and two students from the school bus were transported to a medical facility to be checked for minor injuries. The school bus operator was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
