We have been advised that there is a water main break on Nassau Street in the area of Plum Street. American Water is in the process notifying a repair crew to respond to this location. Repairs are expected to begin this afternoon. At this time there is no idea of when this work will be completed.
All township residents should plan an alternate route if you are traveling in this area. Nassau Street will most likely be closed while repairs are being made. Customers may experience discolored water and/or low pressure during this event. American Water would like you to know that they are working to make repairs and will resume normal pressure and water quality as soon as possible.
