Thanks to Team Effort Missing Teen Located

South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka thanked all the residents and community members who helped with the search for the missing Autistic teen today. The incident began at 2:55pm when the teens father reported that he could not find the teen around their Rocky Hill Road home. A search involving two dozen police, fire, and EMS personnel commenced. Two New Jersey State Police K9 units, a K9 from the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, as well as a helicopter from the New Jersey State Police assited in the search. At 5:46pm searchers located the teen in the neighborhood. EMS evaluated the teen and he was turned over to his parents.

Chief Hayducka said, "The effort to locate this teen just reflects the best in our community. It was a coordinated effort by all the emergency services along with several tips from residents." In all police received a dozen phone calls and sightings of the teenager after the alert went out that he was missing.
