Fire hydrant flushing will begin today around the City and will continue for 6 weeks. 
The Water Department has begun flushing fire hydrants throughout the City. The flushing will continue for about 6 weeks and will move from neighborhood to neighborhood. There will be signs put out when the hydrants are actively being flushed. Residents should be aware that rusty water could temporarily result from the flushing process.
Victoria Crossings, Cedar Ridge, and subdivisions along 151st St will be flushed this week.
