TWO WOMEN FACING PROSTITUTION CHARGES IN LOCH ARBOUR

FREEHOLD – A cooperative investigation by federal, county and local law enforcement led to the arrest of two women on prostitution charges Wednesday, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
Members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Deal Police Department executed a search warrant at Massage Therapy, 560 Main St., Loch Arbour, on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, as a result of the cooperative investigation by those agencies. The investigation was initiated after reports were received suggesting the massage parlor was being operated as a house of prostitution.
Luan Guihua, 49, of Flushing, New York, was charged with third degree Promoting Prostitution and Jinzhen Yang, 48, also of Flushing, NY, was charged with engaging in prostitution, a disorderly person offense. Both were released on summons pending a future court.

If convicted of Promoting Prostitution, Guihua faces a sentence of three to five years in a New Jersey state prison.
If convicted of Engaging in Prostitution, Yang faces a sentence of not more than 364 days in the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold Township.
Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
