Residents in the area of Colbert Pl. between Mayhews Landing Rd. and Nancy Pl., the area of McDonald Ave. from the 5400 block to Sandalwood St., the area of Shorehaven Ave. from Bettencourt Dr. to Shorehaven Pl., and the intersection of Blackwood Dr. and Lakewood Dr. are asked to continue to shelter in place due to downed power lines. PG&E is aware and is getting crews to these areas as soon as possible. If residents in other areas of Newark notice downed power lines, please call the police department at (510) 578-4237 and remain clear from these downed lines.
