Two events on Sunday, April 9, 2017 that may cause traffic delays, congestion and road closures

BAGELS AND BISCUITS 5K
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The event is the Annual Bagels and Biscuits 5K that will begin at the Derryfield Park at 9:00 AM. The race will exit the park via Circular Dr and Reservoir Ave and head into the neighborhood north of Bridge St and then return to the park, again via Circular Dr and Reservoir Ave.

Although the course is considered "open" to traffic there will be a few road closures in key locations to ensure that the route is safe for the runners. Both Circular Dr and Reservoir Ave will be closed during the race and traffic on Belmont St will be restricted from entering off of Bridge St as well as from Smyth Rd. Drivers in this area are urged to use caution if they encounter runners in the roadway.

NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY WALK

The event is the Annual M.S. Walk to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Greater New England that will begin at Arms Park at 10:00 AM. The walk will exit the park via Commercial St and head South to Granite St, Granite St East to Elm St, Elm St North to Clarke St, Clarke St East to Union St, Union St North to Lexington St, Lexington St West to N. Bay St, N. Bay St North to Bennington St, Bennington St West to River Rd, River Rd/Canal St South to Commercial St, Commercial St back to Arms Park.

Although the course is considered "open" to traffic there may be a few road closures in key locations to ensure that the route is safe for the walkers. Drivers in this area are urged to use caution if they encounter walkers in the roadway.
