The Jackson Police Department’s Employee of the Month, for the month of April, is Sergeant Christopher Chestnut.  A veteran officer of the Jackson Police Department with twenty-one years of experience, Sergeant Chestnut is assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division where he serves as an Investigator.

Sergeant Chestnut’s experience and knowledge in investigations makes him an invaluable asset to the Jackson Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.  Sergeant Chestnut is an energetic leader who is always willing to help others.  He does not ask of others what he is unable or unwilling to do.

Sergeant Chestnut exemplifies excellence and a willingness to go the extra mile.  At times, he can be very head strong but he is extremely efficient at completing tasks set before him.  Sergeant Chestnut is very outspoken and this is because of his strong belief system.

Sergeant Chestnut is a loving family man who has a lovely wife and a handsome son.
