The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
March 30th
0736 Hours: Officer Fredstrom recovered a 1995 Honda Accord that was reported stolen out of Fremont. The registered owner was notified of the recovery.
0759 Hours: Officer Germano investigated a battery between two subjects at Futuris Automotive, 6601 Overlake Place.
1836 Hours: Officer Cervantes investigated an auto burglary on the 6300 block of Plummer Avenue. The loss is a gas powered pressure washer.
1853 Hours: Officer Cervantes investigated a stolen white 1997 Honda Accord (CA License #3WAA712) on the 6100 block of Joaquin Murieta Avenue.
2115 Hours: Officer Slater investigated an auto burglary on the 5300 block of Port Sailwood Drive. The loss is the victim’s purse containing cash and immigration paperwork.
