Wanted for Leaving the Scene 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who left the scene of a crash resulting in serious injury of a pedestrian.
A 1999-2002 gray Nissan Maxima was traveling eastbound on Main Street, east of Brentwood Road in Bay Shore on March 5 at approximately 4:40 p.m. when the vehicle struck an 83-year-old woman. The woman suffered a severe head injury and the vehicle fled.
The passenger side mirror of the Nissan is missing. Pictured below is a car similar to the suspect’s vehicle.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
