On March 27th at 2:54 AM San Luis Obispo Police Officers responded to a burglary alarm at BevMo. The responding officers discovered broken glass to the front door, and damage to a rear door of the business. The rear door had been forced open. Two suspects fled from the scene in a silver Dodge minivan with paper dealer plates prior to officers arriving. The suspects fled southbound on Los Osos Valley Road. The loss from the store is an unknown quantity of alcohol. Witnesses at the scene described one of the suspects as a Hispanic Male, large build, heavy set, scruffy dark beard, light skinned, wearing a light-colored jacket. A Loss Prevention employee at BevMo provided a photo of the suspect involved in a previous burglary that matched that description. The suspect’s vehicle was captured on video at a gas station nearby.
