...Strong South Winds Expected Over the Mississippi River Delta and portions of west Tennessee this afternoon through most of Saturday... .South to southwest winds will increase in advance of an approaching cold front tonight and most of the day tomorrow. Winds may be more variable in direction during periods of showers and thunderstorms tonight and again tomorrow afternoon. ...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM CDT SATURDAY... The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 4 PM CDT Saturday.

* WINDS...south winds of 15 to 25 mph...with gusts 30 to 40 mph.

* TIMING...from 10 PM CDT Friday through 4 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...High profile vehicles will find difficulty in driving...especially on east to west oriented highways. Loose outdoor furniture and items will be vulnerable to the wind.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CROCKETT ... FAYETTE ... GIBSON ... HARDEMAN ... HAYWOOD ... MADISON ... WEAKLEY
