Jackson police have charged two men in connection to a shooting on Prospect Avenue. The shooting occurred around 9:40 p.m. on March 19.
Darkis Watkins, 24, was arraigned March 23 in Jackson City Court on charges of Especially Aggravated Robbery, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, and Attempted First Degree Murder. Watkins was also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon after Jackson police found him in possession of a handgun during a March 21 traffic stop.
Today, March 23, at approximately 3:15 p.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department and United States Marshals Task Force arrested William Christopher Currie-Anthony who was wanted on similar charges for the March 19 shooting.
