0955 Hours: Officer Mapes contacted and arrested a 30 year old Livermore female for possession of drug paraphernalia while conducting a probation search at the EZ-8 Motel, 5555 Cedar Court. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

1058 Hours: Officer Mapes contacted and arrested a 34 year old Union City male for vandalism at Fremont Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep, 39639 Balentine Drive. The suspect was issued a citation and released.

1752 Hours: Officer Geser investigated a residential burglary on the 35800 block of Spruce Street. The loss is jewelry and prescription medication.

2100 Hours: Officers Cervantes and Norvell investigated six auto burglaries in the Mowry Plaza shopping center, 39000 Cedar Boulevard. The loss is briefcases, backpacks, laptop computers, various electronics and clothing.

*There have been an increased number of auto burglaries in the Tri-City area. Vehicles parked in shopping centers, residential neighborhoods, and commercial business centers have all been targeted. Please do not leave items of value in plain sight in your locked vehicle. Please place those items in the trunk of your car PRIOR to reaching your destination or take them with you when you exit the vehicle. If you see a suspicious person or suspicious vehicle please take the time to observe and report what you are seeing to the police. *
