Jackson police are investigating an early afternoon accident involving a motorcycle.
At approximately 12:20 p.m., officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to an accident between a van and a motorcycle at the intersection of Dr. FE Wright Drive and Whitehall. The rider of the motorcycle was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation.
