Jackson Police arrest and charge a juvenile with four counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.
On March 17th, at approximately 12:35 p.m., officers and investigators with the Jackson Police Department responded to a shooting in the area of W. King Street. During the course of the investigation, investigators developed a black male juvenile as the suspect in the shooting. The juvenile has been formally charged and is currently being held at the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center awaiting a detention hearing.
“The Jackson Police Department will continue to partner with the community to address issues associated with crime”, said Chief Julian Wiser. “Citizens dealing with an increase in criminal activity can expect an increased presence from law enforcement”.
