On March 18, 2017, at 11:09 p.m. Deputy Ben Kiesel observed a Gold 2000 Ford Focus traveling southbound on US 41 from County Road 550 South at a high rate of speed. Upon conducting a traffic stop on US 41 in Fort Branch Deputy Kiesel was able to identify the driver as 22 year old Christian Fife of Evansville, Indiana. During the traffic stop Deputy Kiesel ran Mr. Fife through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that Mr. Fife’s operator’s license was listed as suspended/ prior. At that point Mr. Fife was placed into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Driving While Suspended/PRIOR and Possession of Paraphernalia. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
