Traffic stop leads to arrest of Princeton man on DUI charge. 
On March 18, 2017, at 2:45 a.m. Deputy U.B. Smith observed a dark colored Dodge Durango make an unsafe start near the intersection of Clark and Hart Street in Princeton. Upon initiating a traffic stop Deputy Smith detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver 25 year old Matthew Greenwood of Princeton, Indiana. At that point Deputy Smith began a roadside DUI investigation that resulted in Mr. Greenwood being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. At the Gibson County Jail Mr. Greenwood was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI.) He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
